(一) Selection of standard molds
(1) The diameter of the cutting edge of the mold should be twice as large as the thickness of the processing plate, and the diameter should be more than 3mm. Otherwise, it is easy to break and the life is extremely short; but it is not absolute. It is recommended to use imported high-speed steel as the mold material below 3mm diameter.
(2) When the mold size of the processing thick plate is close to the limit size of the working position, please select a large-scale working position to ensure sufficient returning force.
(3) The edge of the die for processing thick plates is not allowed to have sharp corners. All sharp corners should be changed to rounded corners. Otherwise, it is easy to wear or collapse. It is recommended to use R>0.25t rounds as much as possible under normal circumstances. Radius instead of clear angle.
(4) When the processed sheet is made of high-Cr material (such as stainless steel such as 1Cr13) and hot-rolled sheet, it is not suitable to use domestic high-Cr mold due to the inherent characteristics of the sheet, otherwise it is easy to wear, pull and material, etc. It is recommended to use imported high speed tool steel as the mold material.
First empty, if there is no abnormality, send the sheet into the stamping and measure the forming height. If the height is not enough, the piece 2 will be loosened, and the piece 1 will rotate counterclockwise (the rotation is usually 2mm, specifically the thread thread) Please adjust the size of the distance so as not to damage the mold. Then tighten the piece
and adjust and test it continuously until the required height is reached.
Mold gap
The gap between the punch and the die is expressed by the total difference. For example, when a punch of 10 and a die of 10.3 are used, 10.3-10 = 0.3 (aperture of the die - aperture of the punch = gap), and the gap is 0.3 mm. The gap we refer to refers to the total double-sided gap, which is one of the most important factors in punching. If the gap selection is not suitable, the life of the mold is shortened, or burrs are generated, secondary shearing is caused, the shape of the slit is irregular, the mold release force is increased, and the like, so it is very important to correctly select the gap value.
